Do you or a family member struggle to stay focused at school or work?
Do you struggle with motivation?
Do you lose things, or lose your train of thought?
Do you have low self-esteem, and constantly beat yourself up?
Do you have trouble concentrating?
Do you have an ADHD diagnosis?
If the answer to any of these things is YES, I want to work with you.
I have a three pronged approach to working with folks struggling with ADHD. I focus on providing Support, Structure and Self-compassion (my “three S approach”).
As someone who was diagnosed “hyperactive” in 1982, I have worked through many of these issues, and continue to, but have found the three S approach to be helpful to me and to those I work with.
Adolescence – especially middle and high school – can be particularly hard to navigate when one doesn’t struggle to stay focused in school. When attention issues are added to all of the other identity formation and stressors of growing up, the three S approach can help young people build their confidence and strategies to navigate these years.
I’m a strengths based therapist and will support you to build on your innate strengths while working with you to incorporate new strategies and tools that you can use now and in the future. Please call to set up an appointment for yourself, your child, or for your family unit.
